If you are familiar with some of the people I have been working with while I’ve been in San Francisco then you have definitely heard me mention the name Cambo. Cameron Bartolini, as he is better known amongst his friends, has been working on his first solo project for a few months now and the below is the first single he is releasing with The Life.

“Cat Like Me” mixes hip-hop with soul, funk, R&B, and rock n’ roll to make a truly unique sound. Cambo & The Life will be releasing one single per month for the next year and each single will include a unique digital cover created by a national artist. Check out the below song and stay tuned for future releases and upcoming shows.

I’ve been waiting a long time to post this. Its some live footage from Alexander Spit’s concert at
Slim’s in San Francisco. Cambo is also in the mix on this one, performing the song “Smile” together for the first time.

This is a great video, be sure to watch it until the end. The crowd is so hyped and Slim’s is cracking.

I hope most of you who read this will be in San Francisco for Thanksgiving. I mean, because, you essentially do not want to miss Cambo and this band “The Life” perform at 19 Broadway in Fairfax on Thanksgiving Eve (November 25th.)

Im pretty sure not many people have seen this. This is a commercial Sean & John of Medicine Agency shot for a little company called Blue Goo. I was able to cast the commercial, and as you’ll see, we got some ballers to come out and help us. The video was shot in Marin County, just over the golden gate bridge.
